I should really be sleeping, but no matter. I did finally succeed in getting another job, and so since Sunday I've been selling junk food from a concessions stand at Golden Gardens. It's a decent job, the coworkers and the guy in charge are cool. Oh shit, I never called my previous employer to ask for a replacement check, because my parents seem to have accidentally put my check into the recycling.

Tonight I failed see that art show that no one wanted to go to except Jennifer, due to the gallery changing their hours without mentioning this on their website. But I did end up hanging out with Kristin and Rachel and various folks, although the original plan to catch a ferry fell through.

Odd dreams lately. A couple nights ago, I dreamt that Daniel and my elementary school friend Adam Bookman got together and murdered some guy, and met up at the airport. Daniel began insisting that we escape to Colombia. I think Elliott was in favor of this plan, but I was a bit apprehensive, and that's as far as I can remember. I also dreamt that I read the new Harry Potter book in one night, which is odd, since I'm not all that anxious to read it or anything.

I hope I can read most of what I planned to this summer. The Odyssey has been slow going. I should pick up Blankets, by Craig Thompson, from the library tomorrow. Mmrrrrr, time for bed.
